Anyone have surgery while being on Accutane?

I started accutane a month ago. I really need it for severe acne. I don't want to come off of this med because it was a nightmare trying to get approved to take it. However, my VSG surgery date is scheduled for Sept. 20th and I do not want to have to reschedule the surgery.:scared0: This is driving me crazy!

Okay,

I spoke to the nurse at the clinic where I am having surgery. After consulting with the doctor - she told me that I can continue medication! I am so relieved! She said that after the surgery - I will not be able to swallow anything -so I will have to skip some doses.
