Is there a Vitamin Guideline?

I am new to this forum and was sleeved July 15. My head is not real straight and can't do the searches like I normally do - quick and fast..

But for the life of me I can't find what is the basic Vitamin Requirement for a Sleeved -- post surgically patient.

Right now I am taking Source of Life Gold liquid. (Health food Store)

Many thanks

Linda

I dont know, but I imagine that most of the guides are for bypass which has a malabsorption component. Thankfully the sleeve has no malabsorption so you are able to get many vitamines from food. We don't eat a whole lot though, so we need to take a little something to make sure we are getting all we need.

I take centrim daily vitamins as well as calcium citrate supplements. Many people take iron, vitamin d, and B12 sublingual as well. If you get a multi make sure it has biotin and zinc to help stave off hair loss. If you go to the Bariatric Advantage website, they have vitamins by procedure.

I haven't had my labs yet so I don't know if I'm low on anything, but I feel pretty good.
