Hi everyone! If you had surgery in MX, did you have to get international calling on your cell? Also, did the hospital have wifi or could you use your laptop's wireless card?? Geez, I could never live in the mountains lol. No internet/cell access to me is frightening:) Thanks for the info!!

The hospital does have wifi for free, as does the resort. Cell service is hit or miss - my fiance found that if he went up on the roof he could get US service - not roaming - to be safe, you might want to get an international plan before you go and then switch back when you get home -- since my fiance was with me and he was the only one who knew about my surgery, cell phone was not an issue for me.
