I had my first fill yesterday in two months. Afterwards i started burping, I have not really burped in 9 months since i had my surgery. Has anyone else experienced this?

I've had three fills, and noticed it after the first two. Each time, it stopped after a few days.

I burp non stop and fart, too. My burps are very loud and gross. I was told they are part of the band. Hiccups every now and then, too.

It does settle but your right after a fill they do become more pronounced.

I also burp and hiccup all the time after I eat. My 8 year old thinks it's funny and now thinks that I am a cool mom!! Go figure??

Oh my gosh I wish I could burp!!! I have tried gasx, moving around, it is excruciating!!! I was banded a week ago and think I would feel much better if I could just belch! I am not enjoying the band experience just now. Please tell me it will get better!

For some reason I have experienced the opposite effect. I rarely burp now.
