I have no desire for protein shakes

Before surgery I tried a few and new which ones I'd use but now 2 days post op I mix one up and I can't bare to finish it. Tastes gross... I'm so tired and sore and this gas pain in my shoulder is annoying the crap out of me. I am living off of maybe 3/4 cups of protein shake a day and then jello, crystal light, and Popsicles :( will I be ok?

I just tried Jay Robb Whey Protein and it was wonderful! It is a lot more pricey' date=' but very good. I got sample packs from The Vitamin Shoppe.[/quote']

I haven't been banded yet (eek! A week to go!) but I have been having vanilla Jay Robb whey for a year, recommended by my holistic doc. Great with skim milk or unsweetened chocolate almond milk. Watch out because the packaging all looks the same: I accidentally got the egg white powder, which was icky. I use Bariatric Advantage for the pre-op diet and it tastes so good.
