I may need to cheat my bloodwork -_-

So I went for a consultation a week or so ago. I talked to the doctor and he said in order for me to be approved for the surgery, I have to have a bmi of over 40, or over 35 with comorbidities. Well Im so close to 40, but like 6 lbs away. Ugh so I HAVE to have a comorbidity. Diabetes, nope. High blood pressurre, nope. ( actually is a little too good) So im left with sleep apnea or high cholesterol. I go for sleep apnea the end of august. I hope something shows up cause Im in desperate need of this surgery. If i Dont, im gonna need to manipulate my blood test to show high cholesterol. Any tips? I know this is bad, but Im desperate. :(

How desperate are you? Because you could just gain the six pounds.

Just a suggestion!

Right. I can fluctuate that much in a day. You don't even really need to gain that weight for real. Just drink 2 liters of water right before the weigh in. (4.2) pounds, wear slightly heavier clothes, and come in after eating lunch. You've gained weight. But you haven't.

BMI is based on height and weight. So many people are hung up on their height? Make sure your height is accurate. Even if you were 1/2 in. shorter your BMI would be higher and you may qualify? I like to say I'm 5' 6" but I'm really 5' 5.5"
