Ahhh...the mystical green zone!

I have reached it! And I couldn't be happier! Don't despair my fellow bandsters...it is real and it might take you a while to reach it. I was banded March 20th and I was losing hope with minimal weight loss. I got my 4th fill on Friday and it took me up to 8.5 ccs in a 10 cc band to get there. But now I feel full all of the time with very little desire to eat. I am so happy and want to share my joy! If you are feeling hopeless, hang in there, it will happen for you too! Let the true weight loss begin!!!!

Congratulations! I can't wait to be there!

OMG. I so needed this. I really almost teared up. I was banded in may. I get stuck on chicken but otherwise I'm hungry all the time and can eat large portions. I try not to, but if I could do this on my own, I would have.

I hope I'm in your shoes soon. Keep me updated!!

Good for you! I, on the other hand, am in bandster hell. I am hungry all the time or at least about 2 hours after I eat. I get my second fill tomorrow. I hope things get better.

@Bandakat: how much weight have you lost since being banded? How many fills have you had?

I had bypass, lost 110, gained 40 and got the band, lost 8, gained 5, so I'm basically stagnant. I just found out I have hypothyroidism, but I know if I were eating less I would lose. I've had two fills, the first fairly large. I don't feel it though. I could chug water in the office post fill.

@Bandakat: I don't know what to say. I am praying that my fill tomorrow works out better for me. Have you discussed getting another fill with your doctor?
