I tried a packet of Unjury unflavored in iced tea and it was disgusting. Maybe that is just the wrong combo. I just bought a tub of Syntrex unflavored and I'm gonna try to mix it into Soups n stuff.

I've been putting a packet of Unjury sop mix in many of the dishes I cook for my family and they have no idea.

I am going to purchase some Protein at Walmart today. I came to my boyfriends and forgot my protein... Also finally slept on both my sides last night and woke up with zero back pain.... I mean after over 2 weeks it was about time my poor back got a rest! Still a little gassy but I'd rather that than a sore back anyway. My sides are a little sore but not that bad.... So far down 16 pounds woot woot!!!

Enjoyed reading all your stories and experiences about getting banded this month. I was banded on 7/23 and as most of you all have experienced the ups and downs. Its day 4 post op and I can honestly say I have improved greatly with the pain...Unable to take the liquid percocet, I have been allowed tylenol pills which I can tolerate thankfully. I was prescribed some zofran for the nausea which is huge because 2nd day post of I got the dry heaves but my doc said not to worry...It's all a learning curve and sure does suck to be on liquids only, but one more week and I can get up to the mashy's!! lol never thought I would be so exicted to have eggs or mashed potatoes!! I look forward to reading more and hopefully talking to people about this!

If you get the brand Body Fortress chocolate flavored Protein powder from Walmart it is actually pretty good! Mix one scoop with 6oz of skim milk and there are 30 grams of protein! I tried Isopure first but honestly it taste awful! Hope maybe that helps!

Is it whey concentrate or whey isolate? ? whey concentrate has a lot of lactose and gives me the WORST upset stomach..... powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury is pure whey isolate and <1% lactose. Also zero fat and zero carbs, and 21 g Protein.< /p>

Ordered some today, the unflavored variety. Will see how it goes :)

I looked on the container and it is 50% whey concentrate and 50% whey isolate. It is a brand the nutritionist at my surgeons office suggested. Let me know how the Unjury is if you don't mind! :-)

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
