  1. I am currently in a similar position....sort of. Can't really help you, so I am sorry for that, but I want to get started on this site so I can develop some support for the whole process. My insurance requires 3 consecutive months of documented weight loss effort, which I'm sure most do. I only have 1 month, although I've been talking to my doctor about weight loss for like 15 years! We've just never done anything formal with it I guess. I go Friday for my 2nd month appointment and hope that once 3 months are completed, my insurance will approve it and I'll be on my way to getting a date scheduled. I won't have my psych eval or bloodwork done until down the road. Wishing you luck and hoping you hear something soon!
