October 22

Is tentatively my date. I have 4 months to get my insurance required pre-op out of the way and get my mind right for this Journey. I've started a blog if anyone would like to hear how it is going and would love to hear from some band-buddies that will be going through the process around the same time!!

I was planning for a September banding, but now it's looking like October. My preferred day would be October 16, that way I would have Fall Break before I have to return to work. I'll check out your blog!

We're all close in dates. Good luck to you both. See you here!

10-22 is my date!!! I'm getting scared now and second guessing. I've worked too hard to turn back.

I'm getting scared now too!! I start my pre-op diets tomorrow. Yikes!!

So am I. Surgery is tomorrow

Got banded ystdy and I have been in excruciating pain since i woke up from surgery from the gas especially in my back. I have a nausea patch behind my ear so no nausea at all. My incisions are ok but the port area is a little sore. But I am still miserable. The heating pad is helping my back pain. And frequent back massages from my hubby, mom, & d on helps a little. I have probably walked a mile up & down my hallway trying to get rid of it. I signed up for Lap Band not gas. #miserable

Vickie I assure you the road you're on is a short one. Tomorrow will be better. Come Monday you will feel totally different. Just keep doing what you're doing and the misery will soon dissipate and be forgotten.
