Anyone with a 14 cc band?

Does anyone have the 14 cc band? I am 3 weeks post op, no fluid in the band, and feeling hungry most of the time. I was wondering if anyone else experienced that? I am not yet scheduled for a fill. I try to stay to a cup of food and eat what they recommend with the protein, etc, but I end up feeling hungry an hour later. I then have a fruit, later more water and then a little later maybe something else like a fat free pudding. Is it possible to stretch my stomach above the band even though I don't feel any different?

I have a 14cc band. Sounds like you may be in "bandster hell" right now. Are you planning on getting a fill?

Apparently I have to go for a week or more eating normal foods. I just finished last week having soft foods. Then I will look into it. I just don't know if it's head hunger or if I am really hungry. I 'feel' hungry but I am trying to learn if it's real hunger or not. I made the mistake of eating some mangos which were a little tough and about and a few hours later my stomach felt a bit crampy. Not sure what that was about. Wasn't sure if it was the fruit sitting above the band or just arguing with my stomach. :( With that thought in my head I was wondering if I 'don't need' a fill???? Confusing.

Yes, you are in "bandster hell" as posted above :(

This journey has been TOO long for me . . . hoping to graduate to purgatory eventually.

Frustrated that my doctor refuses to use fluro fill :(

Good Luck on your journey
