I was ignorant to how the pain would be after . they are keeping me a second night due to nausea and pain . Just started on clear liquids finally. A day and half of ice chips not fun. Any suggestions. I have been trying to walk to help with pain. But at this point I'm like ... WhAT DID I DO !!!! :(

So sorry that you're having a difficult time. But I assure you......it WILL pass!

Are they giving you anything for the pain? I had Lortab (liquid Vicodin) and it saved me. Walking is excellent, but sometimes in the beginning you need the pain meds.

I hope you feel better soon. Please don't doubt your decision to have this surgery. You've just had a major assault to your body, and it's going to take time to heal. I know it's hard, but in a few days things will look and feel very different. In the beginning, it's a roller coaster ride..... But things do settle down, and I think you'll be jumping for joy when you see the numbers on the scale dropping. Try & keep your eye on the big picture :)
