On my preop diet...haven't lost an ounce...

Wow...I've been on my preop diet for a week, I've only had 2 minor slips during that time but I still haven't lost any weight. I'm worried my surgeon will cancel my surgery. Who else has been in this boat and what was the outcome?

Thanks,

Gwen

the pre op is about readying your liver for surgery and not really losing weight (which is basically all water weight and not actually weight). unless your dr advised you to lose a set amount, you are doing fine....slipping up and cheating is not the way to go and its gonna get harder before it gets easier and having a good mind set and determination to follow the lap band rules before surgery will prove to be your best success after surgery. if you are hungry, drink (alot). it mainly head hunger...hang in there....
