Headache and coughing up phlegm.. 2 days post-op

I had my surgery this past Friday. I'm feeling pretty good except for this headache and phlegm issue. Anybody experience this?

I only got a headache went I wasn't drinking enough water. Keep yourself hydrated. As for the phlegm, not sure about that. Sorry.

Thanks! Im going to increase my water intake and see if that helps.

I also coughed up quite a bit of phlegm. Do you have asthma by any chance?? I think it is an after effect of being put under for surgery for some people and it should clear up in a couple of days - mine lessened every day and at day 6 is pretty much gone. Same with the headache! hope this happens for you too.

Thank you, Cat.. I found out it was from the anesthesia. I put ice onu head for a couple of hours and it took care of it! Thank goodness, the migraine was really my only complaint:)
