  2. Awwww... I can relate! On this day two weeks ago, I was at the same point you are right now. I did the same, watched tv, read my book... and no food to cope with (except I chewed A LOT of different flavours of sugar free gum!!) It is a tough time, this waiting, but sooner rather than later you will be there and ready to go. I was VERY nervous, but things worked out fine, even though I did have a bit of a complication - which is RARE - and even so it was easily fixed and I am totally fine now. The first couple of days are a bit rough, but you will get through it and do well, I have no doubt!! hang in there and I know everyone will be looking forward to hearing your "after" story!

    I gained a couple of pounds after surgery too... I think it is the IV fluids and your body holding more fluids to try to heal you. Good luck with everything!! I was just banded May 14. Had some complications but getting better now.
