Today 2 Year Anniversary Here

  • Popular Post

Well I got a lovely message that today I have been signed up here for 2 years. yayyyy. Well I did go ahead with my surgery on June 6th 2011. I am doing well, Am struggling with getting the last 40 pounds off that I would like to lose, but I can not complain losing over 100 pounds and keeping it off. Right now I am working on some vitamin deficiency's nothing to do with the band, vit b12 shots and mega doses of D. And hope once I get feeling better I will be able to lose the rest. I am very proud of myself, and very happy I decided to go ahead with the surgery. I went from a size 24 in jeans to a 10-12. Sometimes I still can't notice in the mirror the changes, pictures work wonders for me to see my progress. I no longer have to use a cpap machine, my blood pressure is great, and no longer at risk for type 2 diabetes. I have not had to have a fill in over a year. Holding very well. Anyways, I wanted to let you all know how my journey has turned out, and share some photo's :)255064_10151120862871277_135323603_n.jpgpost-208839-13813135014588_thumb.jpg

  • You look amazing! Great job. I just passed my 2-year mark myself. I agree those last 20-25 pounds are a bugger! I'm not going to stress about it though. I went from a 24/26 to now an 8 (almost 6

You look amazing! Congratulations on 2 years. No one can tell someone what size is good for them, that has to come from your self. I have never been thinner than a 12 and that was for a very short time, maybe 6 months. I don't know where I want to go but I am happy. When i look in the mirror sometimes I see Fat me and sometimes, thinner me. I do understand.
