Celebrating my bandiversary today

I cannot believe its been a year already! I have been emotional all day thinking about it. I had my 1 year check up today where they took a new photo of me, and gave me a before and after comparison. I was literally in shock when I saw it.

To Celebrate, I bought myself a bike (have not ridden one in over 10 years). I also went to the DMV and got a new drivers license, with a new photo and my REAL weight on it - LOL!

Today has been a great day. Can't wait to see what's next.

Thank you all so much! The positivity and encouragement here means more than you know. :) Maintenance is a scary new chapter for me but I know the hard work it takes is worth it.

@mrswynter22 I haven't had any complications with my band. I would say the only hiccup for me was severe constipation (resulting in a hospital visit) but that has improved as I've adapted my eating/drinking to my bodys needs. I reached the green zone pretty early on and have had no issues. Love the band.

@2muchfun LOL yes, a lot of people don't recognize me or walk right by me thinking I'm someone else. Airport security didn't believe my I.D. was actually me!

WOW!!!! GREAT WORK!!!! I would be emotional, too. You've worked hard and you sure have reaped the rewards; you have taken many years off of your appearance and added them to your life. You are so very pretty, that would be motivation enough for me to keep it up. You go gurl!!!
