Best of luck to you :-)

That is great. I was never sent to nutritionist before. I wish I was.

Good Luck! I met with mine once and then I'll go after I'm banded on the 29th!

explain that-please? I had to see the dietitian many times before surgery and I still her every 2-3 months when I see the surgeon. If you never saw a dietitian how did you know how and what to eat? Just being me, nosy.

I attended a class taught by the surgeon's lapband nurse and given contact information for the NUT if I had any questions. I emailed her once, she promptly answered my questions and haven't needed to talk to her since.

I met with my nutritionist prior to being banded... She was the leader at the group meetings I attended before surgery... I now meet with her every time I go to the Surgeon for follow up and fill.. She is so helpful and keeps up with new products and offers great advice...I am very lucky to have her and the rest of the staff at North Florida Bariatrics...

My surgeon advised that I should go to see her once before I have my band and then afterwards and use her as often as I like afterwards. So that's my plan! She has a lot of patients that are banded, so that really helps.
