My preop diet will be in about a week & a half. I'm still working out though. Here's a current picture of me now.

Mine is scheduled for May 9th. I'm starting to get a bit nervous.

I am being banded tomorrow at 10:15! I'm pumped!! Good luck to everyone on their pre-op diet! If I can get through it, then you can too!!

Congrats and good luck!

Sitting in the waiting room now!

Said a prayer for you and sending good thoughts your way!

Your gonna be in band land in a few sending a speedy recovery your way.

On my way home. Definitely pressure in my chest/shoulder. But, not too much pain to speak of. I didn't have a hernia. Overall feel pretty good!

How are you going?

I'm doing well kinda hungry or it might just be a mind thing. How about you?

Had surgery on May 2, 2013! I am just starting to feel good- though struggling to drink all my shakes!

I'll be banded on May 17th. Only 9 days to go!!!

How is everyone else doing?

Was banded May 2nd - have lost 14lbs and went back to work the 6th. All is going well so far :)

My surgery was on Monday. My incisions (mainly port incision) are still sore/very tender, especially when I stand up or sit down. But, overall my pain hasn't been too bad today. Only taking Tylenol for it and not in nearly as much pain as yesterday. Still feel exhausted/worn out, but it always takes me a few days for the anesthesia to run its course. As far as eating/drinking today I have had a 1/2 cup of retried beans/sour cream, 3 cups of water, a protein shake and a SF Popsicle. When I drank my protein shake I drank about 2 ounces every 20 minutes. My stomach hasn't been upset when I eat, buy often I have little desire to eat. My doc said If I don't feel like eating the first few days just make sure I drink water and stay hydrated. Good luck!!!

I would love to have refried beans right now! Liquids only for 2 weeks for me. I think it's crazy how post op plans can be so different. I'm glad to hear you are doing well. I'm definitely feeling better today then I have been.
