My son has type one diabetes and will get ketones when sugars are way to high , water water water it flushes the kidneys

If you're diabetic spilling Ketones is dangerous if you're diabetic because it's a sign your sugar is too high.

If you're not diabetic and just severely cutting carbs, it's normal.

Ketones is the breakdown of fat passing through your urine. Only dangerous if you are an diabetic..which puts you into ketoacidosis. Completely normal otherwise. Hope this helps...hopefully you are just burning fat.which is great!
