Picketing the Cadbury Corporation. Anyone with me?

Recommended Posts

For the last 6 weeks, I've been trying my darndest to lose the last bit of weight I have left. Then the Easter candy came out. Those Cadbury eggs are my biggest downfall. I think over the last couple weeks, I've eaten about a lb of them.

I've got to sit down and write letter to Cadbury, explaining myself and my struggles. Maybe then they'll take them off the shelves. Do you think that will work? I didn't think so...

Looking forward to the week after Easter (not the day after, when all the Easter candy will be 50% off!)

Marci

Girl I am right there with you!!!

Cadbury eggs are my FAVORITE candy of all time. I seriously love them and used to look forward to Easter to have them all year long.

Last night my daughter bought a 5 pack of them and offered me one in the car. She's lucky I didn't push her out at a stop light. LOL

So far, I have resisted temptation (and I have no idea how) but I am growing weaker and weaker.

Being from England I grew up eating Cadburys Creme Eggs....I feel your pain...every time I see them it takes everything in me to resist...at Halloween in the UK you can get Cadburys Scream eggs which are basically the same only the middle is green and my sister sends me some every year...so this year I'm going to have to tell her no thank you! :)

I have found that trying to ignore chocolate makes me want it even more . Creme eggs were always one of my favourites although now I think they are a bit too sickly sweet. When I am craving chocolate I usually buy a Curly Wurly. They take a little bit longer to eat than just milk chocolate as they are chewy and they are pretty low in calories - somewhere between 80 - 100.

For me its the mini eggs. I find the cream ones revolting. I will get the minis for Easter day have my serving and send the rest back with my nephew to college.

I love both kinds of Cadbury eggs, but I used to eat those mini-eggs by the bag. Not the little bag, either. I'm not going near those things. They are the devil. I am planning to have one Cadbury Creme Egg. One.

My sister and I refer to the Cadbury mini eggs as Easter crack! I thought we were the only ones who couldn't resist!

Cadbury eggs and Reese's Peanut Butter eggs are my most favorite of all!!!! My husband brought home the Reese's ice cream eggs 3 nights ago! I seen them in the ice cream section of the store 2 days before and ran quickly from the aisle! Now the temptation is killing me! I had a dream last night that I got up and ate one! I had to check the garbage to see if there was a wrapper in there and I wasn't dreaming! No wrapper! Whew! I feel like telling the kids that they don't get supper unless they eat one first! Lol..

Easter candy is my most fav!!!!! I love it, used to look forward to it all year. I ate so many BIG bags of the mini eggs it was gross. But I also couldn't stop eating all the rest either I loved all Easter candy. This year I have done so good not one piece or even one shamrock shake!!! Maybe just on Easter this year ;)

I am glad I don't eat those. I use to eat the coconut cream eggs. Not this year! I do have dark chocolate in the house though.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
