  12. Banded 12/21. Down a total of 60.5 lbs. 23 on pre op diet and 47.5 since surgery. No fills, not hungry between meals and no plication. I count myself as lucky and I'm ok with that!
  13. Linda - I go with where I am comfortable. I weigh 215 right now and people are telling me I'm looking good. My goal weight is 167. Sounds high? That puts me in a size 10 and I don't want to get any smaller than that. I don't think people are just trying to be nice. Put up a before and after pic of yourself. That may give you a better idea of what you look like. And I think after being heavy all my life it takes my brain a lot longer to catch up.
  14. I started mentally preparing for the 15 day pre op diet the minute I started looking into getting the band. I was pumped up and ready to go. You can do it. Don't even think that you can't. The biggest struggle I had wasn't hunger...I wasn't hungry but I wanted to chew so I made sure I had plenty of him on hand. Stay strong...it's not forever.
  15. I make sure to put before and after pictures side by side. If that doesn't show the difference! I also put on a jacket that I couldn't even zip a few months ago and now I can fold it around myself. But it does take time to get over it that's for sure!
  16. I was at 275 and I go all the time to get my do done. It never crossed my mind that a chair would not be able to support me. Go enjoy yourself and get a new fabulous do for the new fabulous you!
  17. Where do you live? Just want to make sure if I see a man running down the street in his underwear that its only you! :-)
  18. And duh, it caught me so off guard I forgot to mention that you look absolutely fantastic. Beautiful and such a great smile!
  19. Jesus Missy! You have come a long way! Now, how long before we see you in a fitted shirt and some snug jeans???? :-)
  20. My doc and nutritionist ok'd them for me. They just did a blood draw last week to check my Vitamin levels and I should hear back in two weeks. Have to admit that I am curious if its all good.
  21. So far I've gone from 275.5 to 215 total of 60.5 lbs lost since 12/5 to now. Not a jiggle or sag in sight and I haven't been working out really. But as others say it could depend on age, how long you have been overweight, stretch marks and just plain old genes.
  22. Yep I'm the guilty one! I'll be getting the dahlia cuff too as soon as my boss leaves me alone long enough to order it.
  23. I get my Vitafusion gummies at Costco. Cheaper than Walmart and bigger bottle too. They are darn tasty!
