I'm sore a little bit

I was rebanded on March 1, 2013 and i still feel sore and have a bruse there. We are still in the procees of healing so i think it is normal. It hurts when i bend down though.

Everyone's different and will speak to different experiences. If the pain was acute opposed to sore, I'd be concerned. Also, if you feel itchy, if there's a persistent rash on the skin etc, I would be concerned. But when you consider that doctors have different techniques, some were manipulated more during surgery and some are more sensitive to pain than others..it's a hard guess what is norm.

For now, hands off :) Keep lose clothing as to not agitate the area further. Also, apply ice for pain relief. It'll help w/ swelling too :)

I've had my band for 2 yrs. Any time I do a lot of stomach exercises I get sore and feel like it pulls...but I had a port revision about 2 months after I was banded because my port flipped. They went in and placed it higher. I have asked about that soreness and pulling and it is absolutely normal. You are still recovering so I imagine that is probably you still healing :)
