had surgery with scope Dr who did my surgery (lap Band) says its twisted needs to come out he had several months prior to this taken out all my fiill thought problem was with esphoaus had slight irration dod this scope but sayss he cant change it out to find another Dr I know other Dr dont l;ike too follow other Dr but what do I DO,?????????i CONTACTED ONE DR IN LITTLE rOCK WHO WILL TAKE MY INS ETC BUT NO WORD anyone know what our rights are the surgery worked great and since he took out my fill i have gained 45 lbs back not where i want to be but dont know what to do now..any suggestions ??????????

I'm not sure what you mean by "our rights". Unless it's life threatening and you're in an ER, a doctor does not have to treat you. So you really don't have any rights in that regard.

Is this the doctor who put in your band originally? Why is he referring you to another doctor?

well, i cant make out all you say either, but if he said find another doctor, then do it. ask his staff for referrals or google online or the phone book or call the local hospital and ask...but i hope you find yourself a new one and get a second opinion.

i must say to gain 45 pounds is not (only) because he took a fill out but also because you ate more calories than you burned off...

can he take the band out and do a sleve?

If you'll clarify exactly what you meant I maybe can help you with contact info....I'm just outside LR and pretty well know of every bariatric surgeon in The area. Which doctor s saying you need to find another doctor??

Sometimes when a doctor tells you to find another Dr the patient is not compliant in one way or another- such as the Dr telling them to quit smoking because its making their health worse but the patient won't do it. Were you progressing and doing well up until this point? I would find another doctor because it sounds like this one has pretty much wrote you off ....at least get another doctor and have a consultation
