Walk, walk walk...honestly....this is the only thing that helped me. Congrats on your band! :)

Heating pad and moving. My shoulder pain hung on for more than a week, though it did lessen each day.

keep walking :) that's all gas pain

My gas kept making me burp..putting arms over head and walking helped move it.

All of the above and taking gas-x really helped me.....and my boyfriend massaged my shoulder lots, it stopped hurting while me massaged it, but the pain came back when he was done. It will get better though!

It's slightly better tonite but I can't burp to save my life! Lol. The pain seems to be moving across my chest now towards my right shoulder. Is that normal?

yes, totally normal. take some gas-x & walk, walk, walk :)

Time is the most effective long term cure! As difficult as it is, remember that it is also only temporary and you will get past it.

I was required to have gas x strips with me at the hospital and was given one right after I woke up. I am still taking them (6 days post op)and let me tell u they WORK! I would try them
