Awaitings surgery and new beginning

Hello, my name is Robin, I am new to this site. I am having lapband surgery on 2-12-13. Right now experiencing myriad of feelings-anxiety over surgery itself-worry of having to have open procedure due to scar tissue; excited over new beginnings, etc.

Hi Robin and welcome to the forum. I also had much anxiety before my band, as I am sure most people do. I will be thinking about you on the 12th let us know how it goes and do not be afraid to ask any questions you have. Hugs to you.

Anxiety and the jitters is normal. All of those issues went right out the window when I was finally banded. The surgery goes very fast and I had a great anesthiologist that listed 20 things more dangerous then the surgery. The first on the list was.....getting into a car. :) You'll do great!
