I was sitting at work today and one of the ladies came up to me and asked me if my band would rupture if i ate too much.....i told her what the signs were of eating too much and she then told me that when i go back to the doctor i needed to talk to him about how much i ate and it really made me mad. I am not able to eat breakfast so i have a protien shake or some light yougart because my band is tight in the mornings then the only thing i eat for lunch is maybe a 3oz grilled chicken breast or tuna fish and some steamed carrots or other veggies and she thought that was too much and concerned about me. I thought i was doing well and my doctor told me i should be able to eat about 4 oz of lean protien and a veggie. I lost 10 pounds in the last two weeks and am pretty pleased since they want you to loose 1-2 pounds weekly. The only thing i dont like is people are so judgemental and think just because i have a band i am not allowed to eat but one or two bites. anyone else have problems with people being so judgemental of them and what they eat?
