calories and portions

I've been out of the game awhile. How many calories should I maintain a day and is it a cup of food or half of cup?

Calories vary from person to person, so you'll have to ask your nutritionist what is right for you. You'll get different answers from everyone here, I'm afraid.

As for myself, I eat 1000-1200 calories a day. My doctor says no more than one cup of food per meal.

Again, your doc's rules may vary :)

Your pouch is made to hold 4 ounces so that is a half cup of food.< /p>

ieat one cup and do 800-1200 daily and have been lossing 8-10 lbs a month

Go by your doctors orders.

My doctor and nutrtitionist told me 1 cup a food at a time. Eat approx. 1000-1300's calories in a day (but this is because I do cardio for some it's lower if they do no exercise).

      Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

      Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
