Fat free VS Sugar free?

I was shopping for some post op supplies the other day and ran into a problem. What is more important when picking out soups, puddings and such, that they are fat free or sugar free?

I was told xylitol is a great choice for sweeteners . It also helps prevent tooth decay and dry mouth.

Well sugar free is no Buenos for me. It makes me bloated and gassy. I had a jello sugar free pudding and now I am thirsty and bloated. Next time I'll just make chocolate pudding from scratch with stevia. Pretty much anything processed with words that are hard to pronounce you should stay away from. If its made in a food lab imagine what it does to your insides. Good grief. :-(
