Just out of curiosity, is everyone using a morning weight (no clothes, no shoes, etc), or evening weight (with clothes, etc)? Somehow I magically gain weight each day (probably food, sodium, etc) but then it's gone by morning. I prefer my morning weight :P

i also use my morning weight but with only bra and undies on... cloths are an extra lb for me and shoes could weigh 1-2 lbs if not more! i mean when i go into the dr.s office i take my shoes and coat or sweatshirt off but have to obviously wear cloths i do however wear the cloths in my closet that weigh the least! but def the best time to weigh yourself is in the am You weigh less in the morning because when your body converts food materials to energy, CO2 and Water vapour are released as waste products - and are expelled from the body (that's why when you breath on glass condensation appears). If you think about it - this is happening all night - so a fair amount of water leaves your body. A third of the body's water loss occurs at night - and can amount to about 2 or 3lbs. so after your first morning pee is prob the best time to weigh yourself... i was also told to try to weigh yourself at the same time everyday!

I don't think it matters so long as the weight you take is under similar circumstances each time. I do mine in the morning, but that is a preference. So long as the circumstances are the same, the reading will be an accurate measure.

There's another thread, in the Nutrition forum I think, about carb cycling and some people are finding success breaking through a plateau with this eating plan. Maybe it could help you!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
