Not until I lost weight, then blood pressure was low and I got dizzy some. Are you on pain meds?

I had dips of low blood sugar when I first started so I would get dizzy or start shaking so I had to get just a couple pieces of fruit or one of my luna protein bars I found in the super market & that seemed to help me but fainting no I just felt real week , even before surery and after so I hope this helped.

OMG yes I did. I called my surgeon and he instructed me to eat a protein bar or a hard boiled egg so I did. It passed. This was in the first few days, guess when your body is going thru withdrawals of sugar and carbs, it was awful. I felt horrible but after about day 3 or 4 it passed and I was okay. Hope you feel better.

Not sure why you are on pain meds before surgery but I am sure you have told your band dr why... And I would bet that be the reason you are dizzy...of course it could be the lack of calories, protien, caffeine or even sugar. I had a headache and was light headed for the first 4 days then by day 5 I was ok.

Good luck!!
