the months leading to surgery?

What does it all entail? I know the basics see a nutritionist and psychologist n whatnot but like is there a general diet they put you on and how often and how long each time do you have to see the nutritionist?

Once there is insurance approval does it usually always take about a year to actually have the procedure done or can that vary depending on the surgeon as well?

I'm sure it depends on how busy a surgeon is, but I could have had mine 2 wks after being approve, but I was busy and waited 1mth.

Oh ok because i have a documented lifelong struggle with obesity dating back to childhood ive done diets gyms doctors you name it ive done it this is my last hope...for me and my daughter.

It can depend on either your insurance or the doctor. My insurance didn't required a diet or anything like that but my doctor required a 10 percent loss of body weight.
