I hear of a lot of bandsters using egg drop soup for protein. Do you make it or buy it. If you make it would someone supply me with a recipe please. It would be much appreciated.

Chinese restaurants add a lot of oil to their soups. This could explain why you react badly to their version of the egg drop soup. Since the recipes offered here are Water based, you might have better luck trying them.

Thanks for the suggestion...I never thought about the oil being a problem but I bet your right!!! I'll try some from the recipe and see if it is better. I really love egg drop soup so I hope that works better for me. :hungry:

I get egg drop soup from Wal-Mart. They have it in the asian food section in an envelope. It's pretty good. You warm up the soup and add an egg and stir it around. But for hot and sour soup, I'm going to the Chinese restaurant.
