Chest Pain After Unfill

It has almost been 4 years since I was banded and doing okay. I have had trouble keeping anything down, and lots of esophigus pain. I went in for an unfill, and now am having chest pain. It started a day after unfil. At night, I woke up with chest pain that went away after drinking some water. This worked for a couple of nights, but is getting worse. The pain is right in the center behind where my ribs meet. Last night was the worst, and it still doesn't feel right. I haven't posted in a long time, but now I feel the need to. I am hoping to find someone who has been banded for a while that might know what I am going through. I have a upper GI scheduled for later next week. Any suggestions? The pain seems worse when I have nothing in my stomach and seems to get better with food. Could hunger cause this much pain? It has been years since I was unrestricted...

I don't think hunger can cause that, but I'm no doctor and could be wrong. I think it's a good thing you're getting an upper GI. Your band definitely needs to be checked.

Best wishes to youl

If you're having chest pain why wouldnt you call your doctor?

I agree why wouldn't you call the doctor?
