A Anyone Gotten An Infection After A Fill?

I went two days ago for a fill that was way more painful than most. I usually have a bruise for a few days, yesterday I woke up with a half-dollar sized red circle that was puffy and hot to the touch where the needle went in. I saw it gradually grow throughout the day. I called my lapband doctor to see what he thought might be wrong and he just said he would call in a prescription for an infection. He never asked me to come in and look at it or anything. I assume this happens often since he didn't have me come in, just knew what the problem was. My problem is it's still getting bigger. Does the medicine take time? I hate to keep calling him if its normal. Anyone else have this experience?

Wow... never had that problem. Sore and bruised yes, but no infection. I agree with Missy, if it is not better in a couple days on antibiotics demand a face to face visit!
