Welchs Fruit Snacks

Recommended Posts

I am addicted to welchs fruit Snacks these fruit chews go right thru my band and I can't seem to stop eating them. Has anyone else had them? Do you think I need more restriction to help with this compulsion?

I have just recently had them and they are good! But at 80 calories or so a little bag, just not worth it to eat too many! What I have learned, and the hard way, is that the band is not about restriction for me. Maybe that works for a lot of people, but not for me. I have suffered being too tight and having to wait to be seen to have some Fluid removed. I never want to go through that again. So, I have accepted that I have to rely more on willpower than restriction . And believe me, I battle the food demons in my head all the time!! No matter the amount of restriction, chocolate can always go down just fine for me!

Those are good. Maybe you should not have ever tried them, being that you already have a band looks like you would be looking for something better for yourself to eat..Things like those are, (if you are like me) probly why you needed the band in the first place.

I hope you find away to kick them before they become a habit for you.

Just because you have the band doesn't mean you are always going to make the right choices. Sometimes I wish the band was around my head as well!

even just talking about the darn things has made me want some! Good thing there is only one left in the house that is going into my hubby's lunch for tomorrow!

Oh i did not mean it that way. I was just saying if you already had the band why would you want to try another type of the same items that caused you to need the band in the first place. I understand that you would want things that you already have had before since you already know how good they taste but to try something else like those items will I dont understand because you know if you like it you will only want more and more.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
