Just Got Banded & Feeling Great

I got banded yesterday morning and I'm doing good so far. I have some gas but not too bad. Very little pain just a little sore. I was cleared to eat today, I had cream of wheat for breakfast and some soup for lunch. The food went down well but I got full quickly.

Congrats and good luck on your new journey

Whooo-Hoooo! Needed to hear this! I am so glad you are doing well...BUT~~~is your gas pain in your stomach or in your left shoulder area? I get banded tomorrow...and want all the details! heeee!

Wow you were banded yesterday and able to eat today. I was banded September 28th and I'm not eating regular foods until October 19th. Right now I'm still doing protein drinks for breakfast and lunch and soup for dinner. Good for you!

Good luck with your surgery tomorrow!! I had gas pain in stomach area and in my shoulder area as well. The stomach gas got better with walking and taking gasx and the shoulder gas went away when I used a heating pad on it overnite. A little soreness at the incision sites and soreness in my chest but with the help of some pain meds it feels a whole lot better which allows me to eat comfortably. Let us know how it goes for you tomorrow.
