  1. Good luck with your surgery tomorrow!! I had gas pain in stomach area and in my shoulder area as well. The stomach gas got better with walking and taking gasx and the shoulder gas went away when I used a heating pad on it overnite. A little soreness at the incision sites and soreness in my chest but with the help of some pain meds it feels a whole lot better which allows me to eat comfortably. Let us know how it goes for you tomorrow.
  2. I got banded yesterday morning and I'm doing good so far. I have some gas but not too bad. Very little pain just a little sore. I was cleared to eat today, I had cream of wheat for breakfast and some soup for lunch. The food went down well but I got full quickly.
  3. How are you doing? Did your surgery go well? I'm checking in on you. Lets us know how you doing.
  4. Good luck today!!! We will check-in later. Yay!!!
  5. On my way to the hospital, can't believe today is the day. I am so excited. Good luck to you, we'll check-in later.
  6. Yay!! I'm happy you got an earlier time. Yeah let's definitely keep in touch. I will reach out to you as soon as I can on surgery day. Good luck and hope for a speedy, painless & gas free recovery for us.
  7. I can't wait for that feeling. I'm tired of feeling hungry all the time. Stay strong, 5 more days!!
  8. I have Hip in NY, I went thru the six months already and clearances from many drs. My surgery is set for October 8th. Although I found out that they recently changed their guidelines from 6 month wait to 3 months. Of course now that I completed 6 months it would change. But it's good for future patients interested in WLS.
  9. I'll be at Mercy Medical in Rockville center.
  10. October 8th for me! Long Island, New York. 3rd day of liquid pre-op diet & starving!
  11. Yeah so am I. I hoping it will soon pass for both of us. People have posted that by day 5 it gets easier, we'll that's what I'm hoping for. I'm on edge just trying to focus on the end result. It's nice to be able to share the struggle with others who understand. I'm not getting much support from my family, it's discouraging but I have to think of myself.
  12. Hi. I'm new to this board. And I also have an October 8th surgery date. How's your pre-op liquid diet going? Im struggling all day!
