I would love to be added to the Facebook page too. I am under Julie Tucker Nobles.

I've started my liquid diet a few days early with a small meal at night Tuesday will be hard I fear but I just keep thinking nothing tastes as good as thin feels! I've been reading so many negative post I'm glad to hear positive ones. Still I am nervous a bit but exited.Goodbye to my old friend "bread" hello to my new love "health". Banding Day the 25th..goodnight all.

Tomorrow I pre-register for my surgery scheduled on Thursday the 15th. I am so nervous my stomach is in knots. What am I doing??? Is this the right thing for me? I guess it's a little late to ask these questions huh? I'm so excited about the long-term and kinda scared of the short-term. I've done well on my pre-op diet, found strength I never even thought I had, experienced some days of weakness and occasional low points. Not as far as cheating on diet but upset with myself for how long I have let this go on. My husband and daughter have been all excited lately about being able to go places we normally wouldn't go because of my weight. I know I need to focus on the here and now so I will try my best not to let myself or my family down. Please say a prayer for me as I will do the same for all of you. Good luck to all having surgery soon and to all that are recovering now. God Bless!!

Hello everyone...... so happy. I celebrated my THREE YEAR bandaversery this past Saturday the 10th. November 10, 2009 was my NEW birthday....

For me .... LB was the best thing i ever did for my self and wouldn't change a thing.

Advice for the holidays..... take it slow and find the mushy stuff....soup, taters, peas, avoid the meats if you can. Drink a shake before you have any dinner and when people ask... tell them you ate a late Breakfast. And remember NO DRINKING WITH YOUR MEAL.....

I hope you all the success in the world.

I'm 8 days post surgery and feeling really great. Pain is mostly gone except for the occasional shoulder pain. First post-op appointment is tomorrow.

My incisions were glued and healing. They itch like crazy! I would like to put lotion on them but not sure if that's ok.

I am drinking 3 5 oz Protein Shakes a day, obviously that's not enough Protein but I'm afraid to drink more. I think I could get at least a cup down at a time but is that too much? I'm on full liquids and kind of struggling with when to eat what? Am I making this more difficult than it needs to be?

Do you mean 3---5oz drinks or 35 oz of drink I drink a 14oz bottle of protein 3 x's a day that's it for me I get a sf pudding, popcicle or Jello in between, I have had tomatoe Soup but next day I have a weight gain Fluid I think I think this is all trial and erro I have talked to people who say 1 day you can eat something and the next day it makes you sick just get plenty of fluids of some kind is what I was told. Good luck at the Drs.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
