Hello My name is Kim and I am scheduled to get a band on April6, 2006 with Dr.Ortiz down in Mexico. Anyone else been to him? I am very excited to get started with loosing the weight. My Doctor suggested protein shakes called getfit365, anyone ever tried them? Thanks for listening, Kim:)

Yep ~ quite a few have Ortiz as their surgeon. Hopefully one of em will holler at ya!

As far as the drink, Ive never heard of it - but others may have.

Welcome and also from KY, I have not been banded yet, doing the 6 month pc monitored diet, looking at July hopefully!! Good luck in Mexico, wish it was me..one day it will be!!

I was banded locally, but I've heard lots about Ortiz - haven't heard of the getfit365 though. I'm sure someone has.. there's a huge variety represented here. It's a great place, glad you found us!
