Do Your Fills Take Awhile To Kick In?

I was filled on Aug. 16, but it seems that I have only had good restriction in the last couple of days. Does this happen to anyone else?

First the swelling has to go down so it an take time to feel. You not feel total restriction after one fill you need a bunch.

I have some restriction and I've only had 2 fills.

I've had 3 fills and still have no restriction. I've read that it can take days or a couple of weeks. I keep hoping that I'll wake up one day and have it. I have 4.4 cc in an 11 cc band.

May need more fills as you go along. I've had times where I would fill like I was in green zone for just a couple weeks then get hungry again. I knew I needed another full but my appointment woyld not be for two or three weeks, which can be tough because you know you may struggle to lose. It's hard to wait, just concentrate on protein and exercise until you can get in. The green zone will happen and you will know it when it does.

It always seemed that my fills would take a week or two before they would 'kick in'. It was so strange.

I haven't gotten my first fill yet but it seems like everyone is different.

I was banded in may 2012 and I am getting my first fill today! I've lost 30 lbs but I've stopped and can tell in hungary and can eat more.
