My insurance (Anthem BCBS) through my job covers Lap Band surgery only!! I called them directly to see what I was covered for because the dr office hasn't returned my call yet.

I know I'm far from being approved but I just wanted to know the requirements and if it was covered

One of which... was to have a BMI over 40 and I'm currently at a 53 with no co-mo's (possible sleep apnea-test next week)

Now I'm waiting for the dr office to schedule my consultation

I was worried about my coverage
