Almost 3 Years Since Surgury

I have had huge success, started at 305 and now 153. I have had 4 visits in the last year to remove saline. I have little left in the band, less than what I started with, yet have restriction. I eat, and within 20 mins, my back gets severe pain and I know I have to "get rid" of it. I also incure severe heartburn, I was prescribed nexium and by the end of the day, the heartburn returns. Any advice?

Congrats on your success

Sounds like inflammation in your stomach or possible band erosion. If you are seeing your surgeon they should be able to run some test (upper GI) and find out what is going on. Hope they get to bottom of it and you are feeling better soon.

I havent had an upper gi but my surgeon is not concerned with the heartburn and thinks I may be just still eating too much...
