Discomfort Around Band With Cold/sinus Imfection

I was banded 4 months ago and have lost 34 lbs. I have a horrible cold, or sinus infection and the area around my band is extremely irritated. Just swallowing saliva causes discomfort (minor but worrisome nonetheless). Had anyone else experienced this? Should I be concerned?

i get tight when i have respiratory stuff. If your worried call Dr tomorrow. Most Dr don't believe they are connected but enough people here feel differently.

The only thing that saved me when I had allergy or sinus stuff with my band was sipping hot tea....seemed to relax thing enough that I didn't get dehydrated. Good luck!!!

When my sinuses act up my band gets very tight causing me to liquids for the day. If you can't get water down you might need a small unfill. Be sure to stay hydrated, dehydration makes my band tighter as well. Lol One of our LBT buddies said their band was like a toddler, you never know what to expect each day. Boy that is so true. Lol

Thanks everyone! It's still a little irritated today but better. I'm going to take it easy and wait & see :-)
