Hair Loss, What Can I Do About It??

I have noticed recently that I am losing a lot more hair than I used to. I have heard that could happen due to weight loss, so I was kind of expecting it, but now that it is happening I want to know what I can do about it. I am taking my Vitamins, but I guess that is not enough. If anybody has any suggestions on how to prevent this or at least minimize, please let me know.

Thanks,

Protien- when you don't get enough protein your hair will fall out. So make sure you are getting enough. Also, vitamin depletion can cause it.

Make sure you're hitting your protein goal for the day. I started taking Biotin to help prevent hair loss, plus I dye mine (a lot!) and the Biotin helps make your hair healthier and your nails grow stronger.

I was told that usually after a surgery you will lose hair also. OMG I lost so much I was starting to freek out (i have a lot of thick hair) but it all came back! And yes - protien!

As others have said, make certain to achieve your protein goal every day, and take Biotin.

yep, i have more strands falling out also. dr said due to many things ( and not to panick )......yeah right esp when you have baby fine hair.

Are you getting enough iron? I started losing my hair and found out I was anemic...my doc has me on extra iron and my hair has stopped falling out.
