Has Anyone Experienced This Type Of Pain?

I'm not totally sure how to explain this so i'll try my best.

To start i'm about 4 weeks post op and no fills.

For the past week i have had extreme back pain...ive never had pain in the spot i have it in before. The pain gets worse throughout the day and i end up almost being hunched over with pain. It's directly in the middle of my back and the pain can be felt all the way through to my stomach (not sure how to explain that). I also can feel the pain when i take deep breaths and that prevents me from taking too deep of a breath.

I cant help but think it has something to do with the band only cuz i have never had back pain like this before and i dont recall pulling it at any point.

Am i just over thinking this?? Anyone experience this?

Thanks everyone for the comments. I cant believe im going to say this but here goes...Monday cant come soon enough!!

it's possible that it's gas... I would try taking some gas-x to see if the pain goes away. If it does, voila!

Well how did the dr. appt turn out? I am curious I have the same pains that you are having but just not lasting as long.

Sittin in hospital now waiting to havr bloodwork checked and xray of stomach...the only thing the dr can think of is pancreatitis (sp?) From not having enuff fluids. Im also getting an iv for additonal fluid intake. Tomorrow i should get the results of bloodwork.

I guess the verdict is in...bloodwork=normal. Xray shows band is fine but i may have constipation. Yes folks, all this pain im having may be from the big C. Who knew constipation could be this painful and if it is in fact the problem then i never want to be EVER again!! Ugh!!
