I am 5 weeks post op and I've slowly inched my way up to 950 calories per day with 75- 90 protein grams per day. I've lost around 22 pounds so far and I don't feel like I'm starving so its working for me.

i eat about the same range of calories as you. i went to my nutricionist last friday and she said thats fine and that when i get a fill (my first fill is this friday), i might be eating around 800-900, which is fine. as long as you're getting the nutrients. i try to stay within 20-30 fat grams a day, 30-50 g carbs and at least 70 g protein (i usually have 90-100).
