Yesterday I went to the mall with my daughter. After 3 hours there my knees hurt, my hips hurt, my back hurt. That just reinforced my decision to have the lapband surgery with plication. I go for my EGD on July 3rd. Hoping to get banded by the end of July.

It's a huge reality check and even more so once you have the band and begin your weight loss journey. You won't regret it, just know it will change your lifestyle and mindset about food, fitness, and oh yes...new clothes!!!

Good Luck on your journey to surgery! I was banded with plication May 18. Im glad I did it .

Good luck and let me re-assure you, it's a worthwhile journey. You can't even begin to imagine how you health will change, the physical being a side benefit (a good one of course!).

I can't wait to get my EGD done next Tuesday so I can get my surgery scheduled. Who would have thought I would be so excited even knowing the pain at first. But I'm looking at the end result and that's what excites me. Thanks for all the support!!
