What Is The Problem Taking Byetta Shots After Lap-Band?

I've heard that byetta shots cause the band to erode - is that

true? I've also heard that byetta causes you to become

nauseated after you have the lap-band. If anyone knows -

please let me know; everybody and every doc seems to

think something different.

There is no way byetta could cause the band to erode. You inject byetta into the fat in your lower abdomen, just under the skin, like insulin. It has nothing to do with the band whatsoever. It does make SOME people a little nauseous where they tend to eat less. This is for people with or without a lapband. If you are having trouble getting your Protein and nutrition in with the lapband the byetta could make it harder since MOST people tend to eat less.

I have taken byetta and i have a lapband. I am not a medical professional.
