Is My Bmi High Enough For Kaiser To Cover?

I am 38 years old- 5'6 and 195. My BMI is 31. I don't have any other contributing factors. No hypertension or pre diabetes. What are the chances of kaiser covering the surgery?

    I think to even get the lap band you have to have a BMI or atleast 35. I could be wrong, but I don't think the chances are very high unless you have some weight related medical issue.
